Emil Cheung denies pursuing Louisa Mak

13 Feb - Sportscaster Emil Cheung has recently dismissed rumours of being in a relationship with former Miss Hong Kong and current TVB actress, Louisa Mak.

As reported on Mingpao News, Emil, whose rumours of romance with Louisa sparked in January, denied that he pursued Louisa after she broke up with lawyer Joe Lam.

"We are not dating and I am not pursuing her. We are just inclined to work together and there will more opportunities for a collaboration in the future," he said.

Although Emil acknowledged that Louisa is a sweet girl and that they could have a lot of discussions about various topics, he doesn't know her enough to determine whether he could like her more than a friend.

"She is talented and beautiful. It's no surprise if she has a lot of suitors," he added.

As for being compared to Joe Lam, who is an Oxford-graduate and a respected lawyer, Emil said that they are not acquainted with each other, and will not be concerned about the comparison.
