Eman Lam admits "not okay" about Ellen Joyce Loo passing

16 Aug – Hong Kong singer Eman Lam recently released a statement on social media saying that she is not yet ready to talk about her fellow at17 member Ellen Joyce Loo's passing.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who has collaborated with Ellen for nearly two decades, posted a screenshot of her statement on Instagram, which read, "Thank you for your messages. Forgive me for not replying, but I have received all your kind words."

"[If] you ask me, 'Are you okay?', my answer is I'll never be okay, because this is something that I'll never be okay about. I think I'll only be okay when I'm able to meet her once again and when we're able to joke around like we always do," She said.

"In the past couple of days, we have been dealing with the funeral. We are grateful to the media, the friends and public for their concern. Everyone really cares and works hard. Please give us time to deal with all these things. We are with you, we have each other. So, don't worry."

"Finally, dear, if you feel emotionally troubled, please reach out and let others hold your hand, it's within your reach. You have to be well and I will make sure to live well too," she added.
