Elyana Emrizal is now cancer free
9 Dec – Elyana Emrizal recently announced that after 11 years of struggle, she is now free of lymphoma.
The singer shared the good news on social media on the wee morning of 8 December with a photo of her CT scan, writing, "Today I want to share my happiness and gratitude with you. My 11 years of struggles has now paid off. My cancer is gone!"
"Praise be to Allah, thank you for hearing our prayers. I can't describe how happy I am. It's been too long to not have felt happiness of having a healthy body. I had felt like giving up, I had felt envious of other people's health, but I am confident that there will be a miracle from our Maker one day. Allah is great!"
In another post, the "Main Tarik Tali" singer shared a photo of her in hospital, and cheerfully revealed that she has only several more chemotherapy sessions left.
Elyana first shared about her stage four lymphoma on the fourth season of the reality show, "Gegar Vaganza" back in 2017. She stated that she had been suffering from the condition since 2010, and was thought to have only a year to live.
