Elly Mazlein and Nabil Ahmad reconcile after 2023 rift
20 Jan – Two Malaysian TV personalities have confirmed they've reconciled following their fallout in 2023. Nabil Ahmad and Elly Mazlein, former co-hosts of "Gegar Vaganza 10," have put their differences behind them, with both now working together as spokespersons for Jakel.
Nabil addressed the previous conflict, describing it as a sibling-like dispute. "We are okay now. When it happened, I guess there were lots of factors that caused it. Even I am still puzzled by it. But we gave each other space after that and now we're okay," he explained.
Elly, also known as Kak Lina Pom Pom, confirmed their improved relationship, noting their current professional collaboration: "Otherwise, we wouldn't have work together as Jakel's spokespersons this year."
The original controversy emerged when Elly unexpectedly departed from "Gegar Vaganza 10" mid-season in 2023, sparking rumors of tension between her, Nabil, and fellow co-host Jihan Muse.
