Ella sparks retirement rumour after going dark on Instagram
2 Mar – Malaysia's Queen of rock Ella set tongues wagging recently, after she decided to remove all photos from her Instagram except one.
On 1 March, the singer suddenly went dark online, leaving only a message in black and white that read, "Thank you for the 35 years."
Fans and friends alike immediately turned to the comments section to cheer for the singer, with many expressing hope that this does not mean that Ella is going to retire from showbiz.
This includes comedienne Sharifah Shahirah, who posted, "We always love ya. Keep on entertaining us."
Meanwhile, others expressed hope that the singer will hold a concert first if she is to say her farewell.
When asked about the said post, her manager Peah stated that she has no idea as to why Ella removed all her photos, adding that she will be meeting the singer to ask her herself.
