Elanne Kong is relieved trial has finally wrapped up
3 Nov - Elanne Kong is finally breathing a sigh of relief, now that the trial involving the case taken against her by her former management company has completed after weeks of trial.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who was spotted leaving the High Court alongside husband Oscar Siu on the late afternoon of 2 November, told the media, "I can now sleep and eat well. I thank my husband for accompanying me."
It is noted that the Court will reconvene on 21 January 2022 for the ruling.
She also took to Instagram to express her thoughts on the last few weeks, writing, "Leaving this place, I don't want to look back. This time I tried my best to defend myself."
"People always have to swallow some grievances, wipe away the tears and move on. No one will have no story like a blank sheet of paper. But I want to say, apart from life and death, everything else is just a bruise."
"I will treat myself well and live a good life from now on," she added.
Elanne was sued by her former company Universe Entertainment & Culture Group seven years ago, with the company accusing her of breaching her agreement after the actress refused to renew her contract with them. Elanne, on the other hand, accused the company of mistreating her throughout their collaboration.
