Elaine Ho makes TVB comeback after more than 20 years
19 May – Elaine Ho recently confirmed that she is now signed with TVB after 25 years.
As reported on Mingpao, the former "Ancient Heroes" actress, who appeared at a live broadcast event recently, shared that acting will be a part time job for her, as she still has her singing career and her job outside of showbiz.
"If there is a suitable role, I will cooperate," she said, adding that her daughter was supportive of her comeback.
Elaine also added that she has no qualms playing a mother or a third party in future dramas.
"I hope to have an opportunity to play Michael Miu's wife," she light-heartedly added. "Even playing a third party will be great. If you get harassed on the streets for your character, it means that you have succeeded."
Elaine, who began her career after joining the Miss Hong Kong pageant in 1991, quit showbiz back in 1996 to continue her unfinished dream of graduating from university. She later worked in public relations before turning to investment.
In March 2020, Elaine revealed that she has signed with WSM Music Group, and released her first studio album in more than 20 years in January 2021.
