Ekin Cheng to marry Yoyo next year
3 Sep – Hong Kong actor Ekin Cheng has declared that he would marry girlfriend, Yoyo Mung, by next year during his concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum recently.
According to Jayne Stars, Ekin announced his wedding plans, after six years of romance with Yoyo, to his fans at the concert, when pushed by fellow actors and celebrities Chin Ka Lok and Leo Ku, who were present at the concert.
After agreeing to talk about his wedding, "Young and Dangerous" co-star Jordan Chan then invited Yoyo up on stage to hear his declaration.
"Okay, I will talk. It's a very private matter between my girlfriend and I. We do not like to discuss it openly. I confess that I am a very romantic person, if not how can I sing love songs for everyone to listen?" Ekin said.
Ekin revealed that he would keep his proposal to her private and would not propose to her onstage.
The couple also are already in the middle of preparing for their wedding, but have not finalised on the date and place yet.
"Of course, I won't say! We have not decided where to hold it yet. We will decide based on our feelings," he said.
