Edwin Siu's dream of parenthood comes true in 2025
21 Nov - Edwin Siu was all smiles as he made his first appearance in front of the media following news of his wife's pregnancy.
The actor, who attended a TVB event on 19 November, stated that he was truly touched by the blessings he received from many of his colleagues and that every day has been like a roller coaster ride.
Declining to disclose the gender of the baby or the number of weeks of Priscilla's pregnancy, Edwin said, "Her pregnancy was an accident. We didn't think about fertility issues in particular. Unexpectedly, my wife asked me to look at a pregnancy test one day. The feeling was hard to describe."
The actor said that his wife will continue to do the work that she believes she can do, but that their main priority now is the safety of the baby.
"I hope that we can finally both be parents next year. This is my biggest wish in 2025," he added.
As to whether Priscilla has moved on from her previous miscarriage, Edwin said that they deliberately didn't talk about it before because it was a tragic time for them.
"Priscilla and I are just overjoyed to be pregnant at this time," he added.
