Edmond Leung focuses on recording new songs for concert
6 May – Edmond Leung recently stressed that there has been no solid arrangements yet when it comes to his upcoming Hong Kong Coliseum concert, except that he will be performing in the venue if the pandemic is over by October.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer who spoke to the media at the "LOVE actually LIVE actually" charity concert recently, said that the show is still in its preparatory stage and that he will be focusing on recording new songs for now so not to keep singing only old songs.
"I am not even sure if I will be inviting the Big 4 brothers as guests," he said, referring to his fellow performers and best pals Dicky Cheung, Andy Hui, and William So.
When asked if he is really confident that he would be able to hold the said concert on the date, Edmond said that he would just prepare since the venue has already approved his application.
"There is still half a year to go. Of course I hope that the show can go on, whether or not I would be the first singer to perform at the venue after the pandemic. I just want to bring hope to everyone," he said.
