Eddie Peng dismisses rumours of secret wedding
10 Jan – Eddie Peng seemed unperturbed by recent rumours that he has secretly tied the knot with Taiwanese actress Janine Chang.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor who appeared at the launch of LONGINES' flagship store in Macau recently, smiled knowingly when asked by the media whether he will be inviting Janine to watch his new movie, "The Rescue".
"It's false news, there is nothing for me to say," he responded, referring to their marriage rumours.
It was in late December that news of a wedding between Eddie and Janine broke the internet, prompting the actor's camp to quickly deny it.
"Both are good actors. Please pay more attention to their work instead," said his rep.
On the other hand, Eddie, who also spoke about his new movie releasing on Lunar New Year, stated that he was not nervous at all about competing in the slot against other CNY-themed films.
"It would be a good day for everybody to go the theatre and enjoy watching films. I hope that the movie will bring you a good year," he added.
