Eddie Cheung has yet to start filming new movie
12 Nov – Eddie Cheung recently admitted that there is still no news as to whether or not his new project, "Old Men" will resume production.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who attended the opening of a noodle shop recently, stated that he has been waiting for the movie to start shooting again, and even took a costume drama project in Hengdian while awaiting the call.
"But ultimately, it did not resume," he said.
Asked if he will be paid for his work, Eddie said that he will leave everything to his company's arrangement.
"The market is not good right now. I am just fortunate to be able to work as usual. I have already completed two dramas and am now preparing to start filming another Hong Kong film," he said.
"Old Men" was originally announced back in 2017 as part of a collaboration between Leqi Films, Dexi Films, and Pearl River, starring big names including Louis Koo, Francis Ng, and Simon Yam. However, the movie has been facing several setbacks following financing issues.
