Eddie Cheung explains absence from "Flying Tiger 2"
16 Nov – Hong Kong actor Eddie Cheung recently revealed that timing issues was the reason why he is not doing Shaw Brothers' online drama "Flying Tiger 2" with the rest of the original cast.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared at the press conference of his new TVB drama, "Golden Crime" alongside Elaine Yiu recently, shared that he did discuss about the project with the producer earlier when the project was still in its initial stage.
However, he ended up forced to decline the project after finding out that it would clash with his TVB drama, and the fact that his role in the latter was much more enticing.
"I have always wanted to play different characters in my work, and I think my role in this drama ("Golden Crime") is more multi-faceted," he said.
In "Golden Crime", Eddie plays the role of a businessman in the '70s who started from the bottom. The character is described as both good and evil.
