12 Jun - Eason Chan's rep recently assured that all is well with the singer, who received 30 stitches to his chin following his tennis accident earlier this week.
Eason played tennis under the fiery heat outdoor when he gave in to heat stroke and fainted. Consequently, he slumped to the ground and hit his chin. Eason was immediately taken to hospital for treatment where he was reported to have cheek bone fracture and the chin was deeply cut. Eason was treated with 30 stitches at the wound. The recovery of Eason's health is at least three weeks as advised by the doctor.
Speaking to the media following news that he has cancelled his shows in Chongqing to recuperate from the mishap, manager Lisa Kan said that Eason is stable and is in hospital.
"After the doctor sutured his wound, he said the situation is very ideal. There should be no obvious scar on his chin in the future, and it will not affect his singing. At present, we just hope that it will heal better, so we have to stop talking and eating for 48 hours to wait for the wound to heal. In addition, it will take some time for the fractured part to heal."
As for his situation, Lisa said that Eason was in a complicated mood following the injury as he was unable to perform in Chongqing.
"He was afraid that his fans would worry about him and be disappointed. At present, he can only listen to the doctor's orders and hope to recover as soon as possible. Eason's family has been accompanying and taking care of him in the hospital, so please don't worry too much. Give him time to rest, I believe he will recover soon and meet everyone," she added.
