Eason Chan cancels six shows due to accident
12 Jun - Eason Chan was reported to have had to cancel another series of concert performances after getting involved in an accident earlier this week.
In a statement released by his management on 11 June, it was revealed that the singer was rushed to the hospital on 10 June after he had a fall while playing tennis. He ended up with 30 stitches on his chin and a fractured cheek bone.
His camp stated that Eason had fainted due to heat stroke while playing tennis outdoors due to the extremely hot weather, and injured his chin when he hit the ground. Bystanders immediately came to his assistance and sent him to the hospital.
After examination, the doctor revealed that the wound was deep enough to show his bone, which resulted with the 30 stitches. He also had cheek bone fracture. It would take him three weeks to recover.
Thus, the singer has no other choice but to postpone six shows in Chongqing, with new dates to be announced and to be held in 2025.
It is noted that Eason had to cancel his fifth show in Hangzhou back on 25 May due to his poor health.
