Durex A-Z of Pleasure Card Game is now downloadable online for free!

For all its successes, Singapore is not exactly a society that speaks educationally and openly about sexual pleasure. Born and bred a Singaporean, I'm also painfully aware of the fact that sex education in our schools might not always be adequate to prepare us for the conversations we should be having as full-grown adults.

Good thing is, we can also take charge of our sexual pleasure by learning how to communicate our bedroom needs to our partner. Here's a free and fun way to do so: Durex has launched a card game, A-Z of Pleasure, a 52-card deck created to help couples communicate their bedroom needs more effectively.

There are two types of cards in the deck: Learn cards offer vocabulary that will expand the couple’s understanding of each other, and Play cards, which feature cheeky actions for the couple to carry out. The physical cards were available on Shopee as gift-with-purchase during a previous sale, but it is OOS now. However, by visiting Durex's campaign website here, consumers can also access the card game for free.

There are also campaign stickers on Instagram, Telegram and Whatsapp, with a cheeky hashtag of #cometogether.

Gameplay is flexible, but here's a suggestion:

• Each player starts with either the Learn or Play deck in their hand

• When the game begins, they will each reveal the card at the top of their pile simultaneously

• If the cards have the same letter or colour, the first player to shout “cheeks” will be awarded the pair of cards

• The first player to score five matching pairs is the winner

• The winner gets to pick three matching pairs for the couple to explore together. How will you act on the pleasure pairings? Players call the shots!
