Dua Lipa transformed into a feather-covered vixen at the 2024 Met Gala
Honestly, our expectations for Dua Lipa’s look at the Met Gala 2024 have been sky-high due to her absolutely killing it in archival Chanel last year. And she did not disappoint! Dua showed up on the carpet decked out in black feathers, massive earrings, and intricate lace by Marc Jacobs.

She hadn’t even hit the carpet and her name started trending, so you knew she was going to deliver.
As a reminder, the 2024 Met Gala celebrates the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” and if you’re wondering about the theme's dress code it’s simply and somewhat confusingly ~The Garden of Time~. If that means approximately nothing to you, here’s how Vogue put it: “The forthcoming show has not to do with the Brothers Grimm or Disney but rather the celebration of clothing and fashion so fragile that it can’t ever be worn again—and are thus sleeping beauties in the scrupulous archives of the Costume Institute.”
A little flashback to Dua's previous Met Gala looks. Aside from showing up looking jaw-dropping at last year’s Met Gala (which Dua co-chaired)...
Dua absolutely nailed 2019’s “Notes on Camp” theme in Versace:
Dua spoke to BAZAAR.com a few years back about how important fashion is to her day-to-day life, saying, “I’ve always loved dressing up. I like it when things look like you’ve just thrown them on and sometimes the things you really do just throw on look the best. I’ve always been inspired by the ’90s, and I like wearing baggy trousers and blazers with slip dresses and thigh-high boots or leather jackets, and just a mixture of all those together.”
