Since 2011, HGTV loyalists have watched Property Brothers duo Drew Scott and Jonathan Scott make over some incredible homes. And along the way, we've also gotten to know Drew's wife, Linda Phan. Following the couple's May wedding, which was made into a special (now streaming on TLC) we take a look back at Drew and Linda's love story.

Drew Scott Meets Linda Phan

Drew, 39 and Linda, 32, met back in 2010 at Toronto Fashion Week, according to HGTV.com. Their first date didn't include any house renovating, but it was eventful. In one night they made time for sushi, hot cocoa, and karaoke.

Some people couldn't imagine spending 24/7 with their significant other, but these two make it work. Linda started working for Drew and twin brother Jonathan's company, Scott Brothers Entertainment, not long after they first got together. She now serves as the creative director.

Linda moves in with Drew...and Jonathan!

Linda actually got two for the price of one when she decided to live with her future hubby. In 2012, she moved into the Las Vegas space that Drew shared with Jonathan. (Fun fact: the oldest Scott brother, JD, also lives in Las Vegas!) Some people were bewildered at the decision, but Linda said it was pretty easy. "It's nice and really convenient to be able to have meetings with the people you live with," Linda told People.

According to HGTV.com, Linda loves Dr. Seuss. For the couple's December 2016 engagement, Drew decided to incorporate the beloved children's author. He had a custom cake made with the phrase "Oh, The Places We'll Go," (a slight change from Seuss's book Oh, The Places You'll Go). He got down on one knee at a Toronto restaurant called Piano Piano and asked Linda to marry him. The answer, of course, was yes.

Drew and Linda's Honeymoon House

During a March 2017 Facebook Live with HGTV, Drew announced that he and Linda had purchased their first home in Los Angeles. Later, fans learned that the couple would not only be renovating their new digs, but also starring in a new show to document the project: Property Brothers at Home: Drew's Honeymoon House.

The special starring the couple (plus Jonathan) premiered November 22, 2017. Linda told CountryLiving.com that the project came together "really well and really smoothly." Drew had high praise for his wife and said "Linda brought so many amazing ideas to the table that we've implemented in pretty much every room of the house." But there were a few things the couple did disagree on-namely, closet space. Drew tried to convince Linda that he should take 80 percent of the area to her 20 percent because he's bigger and has more clothes. Thankfully for Linda, she negotiated on getting 40 percent of the closet.

Drew and Linda's Wedding Details

In November 2017, nearly a full year after the engagement, the couple revealed to People that they were planning a May destination wedding in Italy. "We're looking at somewhere where we can chow down on pizza, pasta, and gelato. Those are the requirements," Linda told the magazine.

The couple officially said "I do" on Saturday, May 11. Although few photos and details of the big day have been revealed, Drew did upload an Instagram photo of him and his new wife with the caption "This is love ❤️! #JustMarried #MyWife #LindaAndDrewSayIDo"

Linda and Drew Say I Do TLC Special

The best part? The sweet couple was thoughtful enough to invite us all to the wedding! Linda and Drew Say I Do aired on Saturday, June, 2 on TLC and gave viewers an inside look of the romantic week.

Drew surprised Linda as she was getting ready to walk down the aisle with a song he wrote himself titled "You Chose Me." "Linda is the most amazing woman I have ever met and I wanted to write a song to truly express how much I love her," Drew told TLC. A newly released music video shows linda and her bridal crew hearing the first song for the first time-and there wasn’t a dry eye to be found.

Speaking of dry eyes, there were some more waterworks within the wedding celebrations. During his best man speech, Jonathan Scott broke down into tears as he spoke about the newlyweds. "Of the billions of people in the world, how did you find this person who jives so well with you? Because you really jive with each other," Jonathan said. "I have not been so fortunate in love, however, I love the fact that you found each other," he continued as his voice began to crack. "You will have highs and you will have lows, but always give each other the benefit of the doubt," he said as he wiped away tears.

If you didn't catch the lovebirds' wedding special the first time, you can watch it on the TLC website.
