Dover Street Market Singapore, an edgy fashion retail concept store founded by Comme des Garçons’ creative director, Rei Kawakubo, will be finally opening its doors to shoppers in spring 2017.

The fifth Dover Street Market locale, after Tokyo, London, New York and Beijing, will be the flagship store in Southeast Asia.

An online store selling a small variety of Comme des Garçons’ items has already had a soft launch, ahead of the upcoming opening of the brick-and-mortar store at 18 Dempsey Road.

The opening of the DSM Singapore in the upmarket Dempsey area is a collaboration with local luxury hospitality and retail giant COMO Group, and is part of a bigger complex called COMO Dempsey, which will also house restaurants and bars.
