Donnie Yen to film "Ip Man 4" in 2018
22 Mar - Martial arts actor Donnie Yen has denied rumours saying that he will begin shooting "Ip Man 4" this year.
As reported on AM730, the actor, who appeared at a racecourse event with wife Cissy Wang recently, revealed that the movie is still in its pre-production stage, and that the earliest possible time for it to begin shooting is at the end of next year.
"I have other movie projects to complete right now. Plus, it will take a long time before the movie can start since the script is still in process," he said, adding that he has no information about the storyline for the upcoming instalment.
As for other cast members, Donnie reiterated that he has no idea who will be joining him in the movie, and that he will leave the decision-making to the director.
When asked if his own wife Cissy Wang or his movie wife, Lynn Hung will join the production, Donnie said that nothing has been decided at the time being.
