Donnie Yen is confident about "Ip Man 4"
19 Sep – Donnie Yen recently admitted that he no longer feels the pressure of having a new movie out now that "Ip Man 4" is soon to be released.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared at the appreciation banquet held by Pegasus Films, shared that he feels very relaxed compared to when the franchise started in 2008.
"From "Flash Point", "SPL" to "Ip Man 4", the director and I have already established chemistry. I didn't even have to think too much when I entered the set," he said.
Donnie is also convinced that the movie would do even better than its predecessors.
"It is very rare for a movie to reach a fourth installment. Looking back at the first film, the franchise wasn't always looked upon favourably. But I am very happy to see the success of the movie and the recognition it gets from the audience," he said.
"Ip Man 4" is yet to announce a release date.
