Donald Trump Mocked For Politicizing Murder of NBA Star’s Cousin

Donald Trump is being mocked on Twitter for politicizing the tragic death of Chicago Bulls superstar Dwyane Wade’s cousin.

Wade’s cousin was murdered while pushing the stroller of her three-week-old baby on Friday afternoon, which prompted Trump to tweet, “Dwyane Wade’s cousin was just shot and killed walking her baby in Chicago. Just what I have been saying. African-Americans will VOTE TRUMP!”

Trump initially misspelled Wade’s first name, but deleted the original tweet and corrected it. That didn’t stop critics from bashing the GOP presidential nominee for politicizing the shooting death. Wade’s cousin, 32-year-old Nykea Aldridge, was a mother of four children and on her way to register the oldest for school when she was gunned down.

“You don’t realize misspelling his name wasn’t the offensive part of that tweet. I’m starting to pity you,” one user wrote.

One Twitter user asked Trump, “Not even a thought and a prayer this time?” Another responded, “How any African American can vote Trump is mind boggling.”

Trump was also told to “shut up,” called a “self-satisfied orange-faced humanity vacuum” and asked, “are you seriously taking a victory lap over this?”

“Amazing that when you correct the previous tweet and repost it, you correct the spelling error and not the heartlessness,” one user said, while another wrote, “As usual its all about YOU. No sympathy, just make it about u. Just like you did with Orlando! U only care about yourself!”

Meanwhile, Wade, who is married to Gabrielle Union, has not responded to Trump but continues to mourn his cousin via Twitter.
