Doctor Who's Tom Baker Joining Star Wars Universe

‘Doctor Who’ star Tom Baker has revealed he’s lending his voice to another classic sci-fi series.

While in attendance at the Day Of The Doctors fan convention in Slough (glamorous) the fourth Doctor revealed he’ll be voicing a 'Star Wars’ character.

SciFiFantasy Network heard it straight from the horses mouth, but Baker didn’t reveal anything about the character or in what he’ll be starring.

“I’m going to be in this new 'Star Wars’ thing, you know?” said the 81-year-old while signing autographs. “I’m going down to record some voices for this new character they’ve created for me, very soon.”

This could some late voice work for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, a role in Gareth Edwards’ 'Star Wars: Rogue One’ or much more likely a role in Disney cartoon 'Star Wars: Rebels’.

We’ll find out for sure in due course. 'The Force Awakens’ is set for release on 18 December, 'Rogue One’ is set for 16 December 2016 and season two of 'Rebels’ will begin later this year.
