DJ Mag ranks Zouk Singapore 4th best club in the world, Zouk KL at 21

Popular local nightclub Zouk has been ranked number four in the world, according to DJ Mag’s top 100 clubs list for 2017. Its Kuala Lumpur franchise took the number 21 spot in the list, which was unveiled on DJ Mag’s website on Thursday (30 March).

Zouk Singapore is also number one among the 16 Asian nightclubs that made it to the list. Another local nightclub listed is Ce La Vie at 80.

In a press release on Friday (31 March), Andrew Li, CEO of Zouk Singapore said the club was “extremely humbled and grateful to all our supporters who cast their vote of confidence in us”.

“This win serves as a great catalyst and affirmation that we are progressing in the right direction. We are extremely excited for what’s in store for the Zouk brand, not only in Singapore but within the region and beyond,” he said.

Li is a new CEO for the nightclub after it was acquired by Genting HK. In November 2016, the club left its venue at Jiak Kim Street for Clarke Quay.

Voting for the annual 100 clubs poll began in December 2016.
