Gone are the days where a “going out” outfit meant that you had to throw on something that was audacious, glitzy, cheeky, and maybe decked out in sparkles. I mean, just ask the queens of Gen Z, sisters, Dixie and Charli D’Amelio. The social media stars and major trendsetters have launched their latest collection in Social Tourist—their apparel brand with Hollister—that features pieces the two specifically designed for dressing up and partying occasions. And they aren’t what you think they may be....

This newest collection called VOLUME 6: The Headliner (that’ll be available for purchase tomorrow, December 3) is their second capsule in their holiday release, “Diaries of a Holiday Tour,” with VOLUME 5: The Pre-Show being the first. All the designs in this release were inspired by the energy and thrill that comes with getting dolled up for the holiday season but were approached in a very non-traditional way. Because who likes sticking to the same ol’ thing? They said forget the glitter and uncomfy boxy looks, but keep the classic plaid...because, well, duh.

Peep some of the fab pieces for yourself!! I’ve got my eye on the keyhole top. 👀

Featuring nine designs that include fun tops and edgy bottoms, The Headliner is an upbeat combination of chic and timeless—especially with the nods to the Y2K trend, a trend Dixie sees sticking around for some time. “I think Y2K will be around for a while because it’s so versatile and fun. Gen Z is all about self-expression so it only makes sense that this generation is so attracted to Y2K trends,” she exclusively told Cosmo.

Comfort was also something that was really important to them when designing. To Charli, a look isn’t complete if you’re not enjoying yourself in it. “No one wants to be uncomfortable while at an event for a long period of time,” she told Cosmo. “If you can balance being comfortable and also feeling great about your outfit then that’s the perfect case scenario! I think we have a lot of really great, stylish pieces in this collection that we made sure are super comfortable while looking amazing.”

And you’d think that having your sib as your coworker could possibly get messy (people have different taste!), but for the D’Amelio gals, their experience designing and collaborating has been the opposite. “It’s so fun! We tend to pick very similar pieces and have a lot of the same ideas when it comes to the way we see our line evolving,” Charli told us.

The styles will launch tomorrow, and if I were you, I’d add these items in your cart ASAP because they’re more than likely going to sell out! Prices range from $25 to $80, which, honestly, has my bank account singing. I’ll be updating this story so that you can shop the looks as soon as they drop! Stay tuned!!
