The Disney Tsum Tsum parade is long over and the inflatables at Bukit Panjang Plaza last week are gone, but you’ve got one last chance to catch them on Saturday, 25 March.

The balloons, featuring popular Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Olaf, Stitch and Dale (the other half of Chip ‘n’ Dale’), will be at The Star Vista from 6.30pm to 9.30pm for CapitaLand’s Earth Hour Activation.

Shoppers at The Star Vista will find six stationary bikes at the atrium, which they can pedal and generate electricity which will be used to light up the Disney Tsum Tsum displays for an hour. The Tsum Tsum light-up will come on just as the other lights in the mall go off to raise awareness for Earth Hour.

CapitaLand Malls said it is targeting at least 200 shoppers to achieve the light-up, and aiming to set a record for generating the most electrical energy by stationary bikes in one hour.

The mileage clocked by shoppers at The Star Vista will be combined with the efforts of shoppers across other countries such as China, Japan and Malaysia. The target is a total distance of 40,075 kilometres, equivalent to the Earth’s equatorial circumference.

Disney Tsum Tsum (pronounced as “soom soom”, which also means “stack stack” in Japanese) are a range of collectible rectangular plushies based on Disney characters and acquired franchises like Marvel and Star Wars.

These plushies can be stacked on top of one another to form mountains of cuteness, and can also be seen in other media such as a Tsum Tsum mobile game.
