Director Li Mengqiao denies dating Leah Dou

4 Aug – Director Li Mengqiao (Queena Li) recently dismissed rumours that she is now married to Faye Wong's daughter and singer Leah Dou.

As reported on Oriental Daily, earlier it was reported that the 26-year-old singer-songwriter was suspected to have registered her marriage to the 38-year-old director abroad. The two met collaborating in the movie "Bipolar" and also co-produced the new drama, "Her Way of Survival".

They also sparked romance rumour earlier after Li shared a photo of Leah's cat on her social media account on Valentine's Day.

However, when contacted by the media recently, the filmmaker stated that it was nothing more than just a rumour.

Prior to Li, Leah was rumoured to be dating actress Zhou Xun, though the latter later stated that they are just good friends.
