For the Fall 2022 collection, Dior men's Artistic Director Kim Jones highlights America's spirit of freedom and fuses it with Brit's edgy fashion, much to our delight.
For his inspiration, Jones took a leaf out of literary icon Jack Kerouac's books by allowing guests to walk through an exhibition of Kerouac's private collection of manuscripts, books and letters.
From counterculture to couture, the collection merges the atelier and the road, fusing the finesse of a Parisian couture Maisonwith the modern, casual ease of mid-American sportswear. All roads lead back to Dior: mid-century collections by Yves Saint Laurent and Marc Bohan inspire checked tweeds, bias-cut into soft collegiate coats – a supple lightness added to Dior’s signature tailoring.
Fair Isle knits are intricately embroidered with sequins, and cloqués are woven with the “CD Diamond” logo. Original foulards silks from the 1960s are rewoven, and the graphics of a series of Dior carré scarves adorn shirts and jackets.

Damage to Philippine vessels and injuries to their crew in the South China Sea is "irresponsible behaviour" in disregard of international law, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said on Thursday, weighing in on the latest flare-up involving China. Manila and Beijing have traded barbs almost daily since Tuesday's confrontation at the disputed Scarborough shoal, where China's coast guard used water cannon against to two vessels from the Philippines, prompting outrage from its government. "We've been very clear to everyone, to include Beijing, that the kind of behaviour that we've seen, where Filipino crews are put in danger... sailors have been injured and property damaged, that is irresponsible behaviour," Austin told a joint press conference in Hawaii.
