Dimples Romana would leave showbiz for family
9 Dec– Dimples Romana admitted that she would not hesitate to quit showbiz if husband Boyet Ahmee and her two children asked it of her.
As reported on Inquirer, the actress, who spoke to the media at the launch of JuanLife personal accident insurance, stated that she is very different from her "Kadenang Ginto" character Daniela Mondragon, in that she prioritises her family over everything else.
"[Everybody] thinks that because I'm talkative and have a strong personality, that I'm also like Daniela. The truth is, my relationship with my husband wouldn't last this long if I behaved like her at home," she said.
Although it will be hard, Romana said that she would leave the entertainment industry if Ahmee asked her too since her acting career comes only second to him and their two children.
"I always consider what my children will say about me. Will Callie be able to say with pride that I'm her mum? These days, I have nothing more to ask. If my family tells me they need me at home and asks me to quit, I'd willingly do it," she said.
