11 Feb – Rumours are rife that Uyghur actress Dilraba Dilmurat is terminating her contract with her current agency, Jay Walk Studio.

As reported on HK01, the 27-year-old, who signed with the company co-founded by Yang Mi in 2014, reportedly has not been getting the exposure and amount of work that she had wanted, despite being one of the most sought after actresses in mainland China in recent years.

Fans of Dilraba also accused Jay Walk of mistreating the actress, after they noticed that she kept being paired up with the same co-stars, and was unable to choose her own projects like other celebrities do.

This was made worse when one of the said projects, "Eternal Love and Dream", co-starring Vengo Gai, did not receive good reviews from critics.

In a previous interview, the actress admitted that she had not filmed a series in eight months, and had to turn down a lot of offers due to clashes with her management.

Neither Dilraba nor Jay Walk Studio has made any response regarding the rumours for now.
