Dilraba Dilmurat kept mum about injury at Spring Gala Festival
15 Mar - Nobody knew that Dilraba Dilmurat actually hurt herself dancing during the Spring Gala Festival last month, that is until it was revealed by the show's director recently.
In an interview with the media recently, Qin Zheng, the director of the Kashgar venue of the said festival, said that the actress actually fell down during the transition in her performance, and that the slip had caused a slight fracture.
However, in order not to affect her performance, the Uyghur star, who danced a folk dance in her hometown Xinjiang, stood immediately and continued with her next dance. She also hid her pain well and did not say anything about it after the performance.
It is noted that it wasn't until Qin's interview that netizens found out that she had hurt herself.
Fans had since praised the actress for her dedication, with one netizen writing, "Dilraba is really modest in her work. She never complained."

It is noted that the CCTV 2024 Spring Gala Festival, which is held annually, recently had a main event in Beijing, with several performances being held in other venues including Hunan, Shaanxi, and Kashgar in Xinjiang.
