Diego Loyzaga excited about playing the lead
20 Apr - Diego Loyzaga is excited about his new drama, "Pusong Ligaw" as he would be playing a major role for the first time.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actor, who will be paired up with his onscreen partner Sofia Andres, shared that there is no words that can explain how happy it is to hear that he is no longer just a supporting character.
Said Loyzaga, "That feeling of being noticed for your effort, being given the opportunity, and being trusted by your bosses, it's definitely a dream come true for an actor."
"I am just so thankful, grateful, and I love ABS-CBN. I'm just so happy, there are no words," he added.
Loyzaga added that he is working hard to improve his Tagalog with the help and support of the people close to him.
Although Loyzaga has starred in various "Maalaala Mo Kaya" episodes, his last drama was the 2015 remake of "Pangako Sa 'Yo".
Other stars include Beauty Gonzalez, Bianca King, Enzo Pineda, and Teresa Loyzaga. It will be premiering on 24 April.
