Dicky Cheung returns with a new TVB drama

20 Feb - It has been 20 years since Dicky Cheung last filmed a TVB drama, and now the actor is set to make his comeback with a new project, "The Handsome Marshall" (working title).

As reported on Mingpao News, the actor, who appeared at the contract signing event held at a grand hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui recently, stated that he will begin filming the 30-episode drama in mid-March and that the production will take half a year at most.

When asked to express his thoughts on his return to TVB to be part of its 50th Anniversary celebration, Dicky stated that he is happy since it has been a long time since he worked in a Cantonese drama.

"For the past 20 years, there had been countless offers for me to come back, but I couldn't make a promise. Since this is the 50th anniversary, I decided to do it," he added.

Other stars who will be joining Dicky include Sisley Choi, Tony Hung, and Raymond Cho.
