Diana Danielle files for divorce in court
4 Nov - Diana Danielle has appeared in court to file for divorce against husband, Farid Kamil.
The actress was seen appearing at the Federal Territory Shariah Lower Court with her lawyer, Datuk Akberdin Abdul Kadir as early as 9am on 4 November, telling the media afterwards, "I am hoping for the best for the two of us."
"There is no need to say more. I will leave it up to fate, because we can only plan. The rest, let's just see what will end up," she said.
Meanwhile, Diana's lawyer cited irreconcilable difference as the reason for the filing, and that the two parties will meet in court on a later date.
Her appearance in court came after Diana took to Instagram Story to express her annoyance over estranged husband Farid Kamil's decision to share an old letter he wrote to her on social media, amid their marital woes.
The actress, who decided to post a photo of a burnt letter, which many believed to be the same letter he shared prior, said that Farid is cruel if he decides to prolong the divorce process.
"I have spent a full year trying to reconcile and improve things. We have faced moments on the brink of breaking down countless times... I do not want to be persuaded and I do not want to continue this marriage," she expressed.
