Derek Ramsay denies he's a better dad than John Lloyd Cruz
29 Jun - Derek Ramsay recently dismissed the notion that he is a better father than John Lloyd Cruz to the latter's child, Elias Modesto.
The actor, who is engaged to Ellen Adarna - the mother of Elias - recently responded to fans who expressed such idea on his post about Elias turning three, including one who wrote that John Lloyd should be thankful to him.
He wrote, "That's not nice. JL is a good father to Elias."
To another who stated that he should consider John Lloyd's feelings instead, Derek reiterated his previous response, saying that he and John Lloyd have no issues with one another.
"He is a great father to Elias and I am not trying to replace him as the father. Ellen is my fiancée and I love them both very much," he added.
Ellen and Derek recently held a Spider-Man themed birthday bash for Elias, who turned three on 27 June. On the other hand, John Lloyd surprised his son with a different celebration, one which also has a Spider-Man theme.
Ellen and Derek announced their engagement in March this year, just a month after revealing that they are in a relationship.
