Derek Ramsay is comfortable working with ex-girlfriend
20 Oct - Aside from working with Jennylyn Mercado again in another Metro Manila Film Festival project, Derek Ramsay revealed that the new movie "All Of You" also stars his ex-girlfriend Solenn Heussaff.
As reported on PEP, the actor, who spoke about the project recently, shared that there is no awkwardness between him and Heussaff, who plays the role of his past lover in the movie, even though the two of them had not seen each other since Heussaff married Argentinian businessman Nico Bolzico in May last year.
"We had a lot to talk about," he said about working with Heussaff again.
The former couple dated circa 2003 - 2007 before they ended their relationship. But according to Ramsay, the two are still good friends that they were able to work together in the previous movie, "Love is Blind".
When asked if his current girlfriend, model Joanne Villablanca had any issue with him working with his ex, Ramsay denied it, saying that the two of them didn't have a lot of scenes together to begin with.
However, he admitted that it was easier for him to get into character with Heussaff playing his ex-girlfriend in the movie too.
"We were able to use our experience from the past relationship in our scenes," he added.
