If you think Demi Moore’s filmography is impressive, wait until you see her real estate portfolio. The Oscar-nominated actress has lived in four major properties, and while that might be a modest number compared to other celebrity housing investments (looking at you, Ellen and Portia!), Moore’s properties aren’t just luxury houses—they’re homes filled with a lot of love and designed with care.

Originally from New Mexico, Moore's homesteads have down-home aesthetics that are more cozy than they are contemporary. Think elevated with a rustic cabin-in-the-woods feel. Curious? We're giving you a look at The Substance star’s homes.

A Malibu Mansion

Moore was married to Bruce Willis from 1987 to 2000, and during this time, they shared a 4,850-square-foot, five-bedroom house in Malibu. While Moore didn’t own the property, Willis bought the home for $2.5 million in 1987. Though it had direct beachfront access, the house also had two pools overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The former couple sold the property in 1998 for $6.7 million, Crazy Luxury Homes estimates the estate is now worth roughly $41.5 million.

Demi Moore is, arguably, one of the most famous actresses in the world. Yet, when she's not working on set or attending premieres and award shows, the 62-year-old is a regular mom who loves spending time with her family. These gatherings primarily take place at her ranch-style home in Aspen Lakes, Idaho.

The property spans 10.5 acres and boasts six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and natural elements like trees, a garden, and a river flowing through it that give the estate a cozy, almost rustic-fairytale feel. Inside, wood furniture can be found throughout, particularly in the kitchen and dining areas, where you’ll find a breakfast nook with a wooden bench decorated with floral upholstery. Other design features worth highlighting: Wood flooring, granite countertops, floor-to-ceiling windows, and an open-concept living-dining area.

Moore purchased the Idaho abode in 2000 when she and Willis amicably split. However, they occasionally cohabitate here with their three daughters—Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah—Willis's wife, Emma, and their two daughters after Willis was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. An unusual living arrangement, maybe, but the full house, though not without its complications, has been a happy and healing one for the blended family.

In the aftermath of her split from Willis in 2000, Moore obtained ownership of their shared penthouse in Central Park West. Moore called the luxury property home until 2017 when she sold it for $45 million, which is a whopping $30 million below her asking price. A steal, considering what the undisclosed buyer was paying for.

This penthouse isn’t just a luxury apartment; the space, situated in the south tower of the San Remo building designed by Emery Roth, is a mecca of grandeur. The former couple purchased the property adjacent to Central Park in 1990 for a modest (by celebrity standards) $8 million, so she did make a pretty profit upon its sale. When Moore resided there, it had three floors, six bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, a private elevator, and a library, plus breathtaking views of the park, skyline, and Hudson River.

Being an in-demand actress often means keeping a bicoastal lifestyle, so it should come as no surprise that Moore has a home in California. She purchased the private pad in 2003 for a reported $3.2 million. While Moore has kept most details regarding the property under wraps, we do know is the over 4,500-square-foot home has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a glass-and-steel entryway, a two-story living room, and wooden floors. Similar to Moore’s Idaho oasis, the home is also surrounded by nature, including gorgeous oak and sycamore trees, and has stunning views of the Hollywood Hills.
