After a decade, Daughtry is back to perform in Malaysia

Catch Daughtry back in KL this July!.

18 May - After a decade since performing in Malaysia for the first time, Daughtry will be coming back to rock out with Malaysian fans this 13 July.

The ex-"American Idol" contender will be performing with his band, comprising of Josh Steely, Brian Craddock, Josh Paul, Elvio Fernandes, and Brandon Maclin, at KL Live, Kuala Lumpur.

The concert is in support of their latest single "Backbone" off of their fifth studio album which is to be released sometime this year.

Formed in 2006 by frontman Chris Daughtry, the band rose to fame after he joined "American Idol" and finished fourth in the fifth season of the singing competition.

Since then, the band had debut their first album that same year with hit songs like "It's Not Over" and "Home" which topped multiple charts and eventually earned them a Grammy nomination in 2008 for its success.

Arguably one of "American Idol's" more successful alumni apart from Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, Daughtry continues putting out hit after hit with multi-platinum albums and sold-out shows.

Ticket sales for Daughtry live in Malaysia will begin this 21 May from 10 a.m. onwards and are priced at RM 298. Limited early bird tickets are entitled to a special rate of RM 258 but on a first come first serve basis only.
