Dawn announces military enlistment

13 Oct - South Korean rapper Dawn of HyunA&DAWN and Pentagon fame recently announced that he is enlisting for military duty as a public service worker.

The rapper, real name Kim Hyo-Jong, surprised fans with the news via Instagram Story, and apologised to fans for not telling them in advance in hopes to enlist without much fanfare.

"Before I leave my regrets behind and enlist, I would like to express my gratitude. I am grateful to the fans who have always been supportive of me and I will return after completing my service in good health," he said.

Dawn also assured that the projects that he has completed will be unveiled accordingly despite his absence.

It is noted that the rapper has released his second EP, "Narcissus" last month.
