David Lynch to throw music festival this fall

Filmmaker David Lynch is throwing a music festival this fall with a lineup that includes Robert Plant, Questlove and performances of the "Twin Peaks" soundtrack.

Festival of Disruption will take over the The Theater at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles for two days in October.

Along with the musical lineup that includes interpretations of the "Twin Peaks" soundtrack by artists like Sky Ferreira and Xiu Xiu, stars Kyle MacLachlan and Laura Dern will give talks at the festival. Other stars scheduled to make appearances include architect Frank Gehry, Blondie's Debbie Harry and Mel Brooks.

The festival runs Oct. 8 - 9 and passes are $199 for the two days.

Tickets go on sale June 24 at 10 am PST with 100 percent of sales benefiting the David Lynch Foundation which works with victims of domestic violence, veterans, and underserved youth through Transcendental Meditation Technique.
