Datin Alyah wants her and Siti Nordiana's fans not to fight among themselves

13 Dec – Singer Alyah recently expressed hope that people will not pit her against good friend Siti Nordiana over the recent issue concerning Hetty Koes Endang's controversial comments.

In an Instagram post that came after she reposted several comments made by fans slamming Hetty for saying Siti Nordiana performed the song "Kisah Hati" better than Alyah during the finale of "All Stars Gegar Vaganza", the singer said that the only reason she shared those posts were due to the fact that she felt touched by their support.

"I just hope people will not condemn my friend and fight among fan clubs. I am sure [Nana] works hard to give her best performance, and so am I. I recorded Kisah Hati multiple times because I wanted the best," she said.

Alyah also stated that she hopes people will not compare one singer to the other, as every artiste would work hard when it comes to their performances.

"Please appreciate us for our effort and don't compare the two of us because only we know how hurtful that is," she added.

Meanwhile, some netizens urged the singer not to take Hetty's words to heart as the Indonesian songstress might have only made the comparison to tease Alyah's own husband and head of jury, Dato' Ramli MS.
