Date confirmed for U2's first Singapore gig: 30 November

SINGAPORE — U2 fans, pencil 30 November as the date when the Irish rock band will come to Singapore to perform for the first time.

Live Nation confirmed in a media release on Friday (14 June) that U2 will bring their Joshua Tree Tour to Singapore for the first time ever on 30 November at the National Stadium.

Tickets are priced at $98, $138, $188, $238, $288, $368 and $588. VIP packages ranging from $588 to $1,228 are also available.

The pre-sale for U2.com subscribers commences on 17 June at 10am, Singapore time, and ends at 5pm on 19 June. General on-sale will begin on 20 June at 10am onwards via Sports Hub Tix.

There will be a four-ticket limit for subscribers and an eight-ticket limit for public sales.

U2 rocketed into global popularity in the 1980s and are still going strong with sell-out tours worldwide.

Their latest tour, which will kick off on 8 November in Auckland and finish in Seoul on 8 December, is similar to their 2017 tour, when they celebrated the 30th anniversary of their biggest-selling record by playing the entire Joshua Tree album in concert.
