Darren Wang's mother's sudden death caused by undiagnosed tumour

12 Aug – It was reported that Taiwanese actor Darren Wang has recently lost his beloved mother.
According to Mingpao, the actor's mother was rushed to the hospital back on 5 August following a rupture of a brain tumour that was never diagnosed prior.
It was revealed that she was found unconscious on her bed by her daughter and was in a coma soon after arriving in hospital.
Darren was revealed to have halted all work to accompany his mother at the hospital following her surgery. Unfortunately, she passed away in the early morning of 9 August.
The news of her death was officially confirmed by his studio on 10 August in a statement that read, "Mr Darren Wang's mother unfortunately died yesterday (9 August). We have received everybody's thoughts and prayers. Please give him more time and space, as well as your support."
The company added that Darren will be focusing on arranging matters related to the death for now.
It is noted that the death was a big blow to the actor, who had always been close to his mother.
