Daniel Wu makes Hong Kong movie comeback

21 Nov – After focusing his career in Hollywood for the past couple of years, actor Daniel Wu recently made his Hong Kong comeback with the new Emperor Motion Pictures' movie, "The Deadline".

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared at the press conference of the new crime thriller recently, shared that he is excited to be back working with the local production as it has its own unique style compared to American productions.

"In America, the style is more detailed, and the division of labour is precise. So the cast doesn't really get to spend a lot of time together like in Hong Kong," he said.

Daniel also added that the Hong Kong film industry has a special place in his heart as he started his career doing Hong Kong movies.

"You don't get to make movies like this anywhere else," he added.

On the other hand, when asked about his personal life, Daniel shared that daughter Raven is starting kindergarten in the United States this year.

"I enrolled her in a Chinese school because I want her to learn the language. I regretted not learning Chinese back when I was younger," he said.
