Dada Chan to go on study tour to the US
5 Sep – Dada Chan recently revealed that she will be travelling to the United States soon.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke to the media at a Mid-Autumn Festival event on 3 September, stated that she will be going on a study tour to New York and Los Angeles for three months, where she will be taking courses in language, drama and arts.
"It has been a dream of mine to join these classes, so since my new acting project will only start in the beginning of next year, I want to take the opportunity to add value to myself," she said.
Asked if she is not worried about going abroad on her own, Dada said that she has thought of that, which is why she will be accompanied by her friend, Rainky Wai, of whom she has been close to for the past year.
"I said I wanted to go on a study tour, and she was interested to go together. She is full of positive energy, so it should bring a lot of joy to the trip," Dada said. "She is younger than me, so I will take care of her. I am looking forward to it."
Dada's last film was the 2021 "G Storm", starring Louis Koo, Julian Cheung and Kevin Cheng.
