Cyndi Wang is releasing a new compilation album
1 Sep– Cyndi Wang recently announced that she is releasing a special compilation album to commemorate her 17th year in showbiz.
As reported on Epoch Times, the singer shared a promotional clip of the said collection, "My! Cindy!", which includes 20 concert repertoires, as well as various goodies that come in its exclusive collector's edition hardcover box - including an exclusive Polaroid photo, a "Pink Memory Cassette" that includes the special tracks, a special pass, as well as a handwritten note from the singer.
According to Cyndi, she was inspired by her fans when she prepared the album, adding that she was looking from the perspective of fans and imagining what they felt.
"This is definitely a sincere collection, whether it's the track or the packaging. It is dedicated to everybody on my birthday on 5 September. I hope that everybody can feel my sincerity and accompany me this time for a different kind of birthday," she said.
"My! Cindy!" will open its pre-orders on 5 September - which is also Cyndi's 38th birthday, with the album releasing on 20 September.
