Crystal Fung happy with good response to "Apple-Colada"
19 Mar – Miss Hong Kong 2016 Crystal Fung recently expressed elation that her new drama, "Apple-Colada" is doing well in the viewership ratings.
As reported on Mingpao, the beauty queen-turned actress who plays the role of a bar owner who is in conflict with Alice Chan and Mat Yeung's social workers character, shared that it was gratifying for her to see the drama well-received by the viewers.
"My own goal [when I starred in the drama] is not to be criticised for my performance. But the drama has now received such a good response that it exceeded my expectations," she said.
Crystal also admitted that everybody from family members, friends, to critics have only good things to say about the drama that it really moved her to almost tears.
"I am very grateful. I promise not to be complacent and will continue to work hard," she said.
"Apple-Colada" is Crystal's second drama, following her debut in "Heart and Greed". Her next drama will be the upcoming medical series, "White Strongmen".
