Crystal Fung admits to have used profanity in the past
15 Sep - The newly-reigned Miss Hong Kong, Crystal Fung admitted to have used profanity in the past, but that she had since change her ways.
According to Oriental Daily, the 22 year-old who gives the appearance of a girl-next-door, was recently accused of lying about her true nature, after a past post she wrote about a video of a woman being sexually harassed circulated the internet.
In it, Crystal wrote, "If I'm ever sexually harassed in public and there is a witnesses and video evidence, I don't think I will be [profanity] able to press charges even if the guy is caught!"
She also reportedly wrote various posts directed at the Hong Kong Chief Executive, CY Leung and the pro-Beijing supporters.
When asked about it recently, Crystal admitted that she did write all those posts, but that it was all written when she first started at her university.
"It was a hot topic at the time and I know it was a little over the top. But that's not how I normally talk. A girl should be well-mannered and shouldn't say such things," she said.
Crystal added that all the posts were published on Facebook as a way to relieve her stress and that she has already forgotten about it.
When asked if she would be careful with what she says in the future, Crystal responded, "Now that I've graduated and are employed, I think I've become more mature and become more understanding of various perspectives."
