With the Golden Globes and the Governors Awards behind us, Hollywood is set for another big week on the awards season circuit with the Critics' Choice Awards taking place last night, and the Emmys scheduled for tomorrow.

The Critics Choice Awards was this year held in Santa Monica, and celebrated the best in film and television. Winners on the night included Emma Stone for Poor Things, Sarah Snook for Succession and Elizabeth Debicki for The Crown.

Perhaps a slightly more low-key event than the likes of the Globes and the Oscars, the Critics Choice Awards still always offers up plenty of red-carpet drama. This year saw established names such as Brie Larson, Margot Robbie and Julianne Moore excel when it came to their wardrobes, while a number of up-and-comers also turned heads for all the right reasons.

Below, we round up our 10 favourite looks from the evening. If you want to see more from the Critics' Choice Awards red carpet, head this way.

Brie Larson in Prada

Prada is having a very good awards season indeed. After Hunter Schaffer's striking Golden Globes moment last week, Brie Larson was our best-dressed guest at the Critics Choice Awards in this beautiful black gown by the house, which featured a sheer panel at the front, and a train.

Mandy Moore in Elie Saab

The big trend of the night was red gowns, and nobody did it better than Mandy Moore her bejewelled Elie Saab dress, which featured a low V-neckline, cut-out detail and a slit up the leg.

Ayo Edebiri in The Row

Ayo Edebiri took a bit of a red-carpet risk with a slightly more low-key ensemble, but it certainly paid off. The actress wore a white suit by The Row, which she teamed with a white T-shirt, black ballet pumps and some statement sunglasses.
