Crazy Horse says Angelababy wasn't at Blackpink Lisa's shows
5 Oct - Amid allegations that Angelababy might be violating the morality clause set by the Chinese Association of Performing Arts for supposedly attending Lalisa Manoban's Crazy Horse performance, the Parisian cabaret has decided to come to her defence.
In a statement released via its official Instagram account, Crazy Horse denied that the mainland actress was at the show as claimed by many.
"We have become aware of the polemic around Angelababy. Unfortunately, she has never seen a [Crazy Horse Paris] show," the statement read, adding, "We would be delighted to invite her anytime!"
The actress recently found herself getting attacked on social media over reports that she was seen attending the show, which had Blackpink's Lisa performing for the first time. Many accused her of going against the rules, in which entertainment industry workers are banned from organising or attending sexual-related activities.
It is noted that unlike Zhang Jiani, who was seen in front of the Crazy Horse entrance, there had been no photos of Angelababy in the actual premise. The actress, however, was reportedly in France attending Paris Fashion Week.
While there was no official statement made about Angelababy being banned, it was noted that CCTV had since taken down her promotional video for its show, "Natural High".
